A three-year fixed-term training contract within PwC's CA programme, aligned with "The New Equation" strategy. The programme prepares trainees for the world of business by exposing them to diverse teams and client work, with the primary goal of qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (SA). The role involves performing audit procedures across various industries to form an opinion on clients' financial records.

Responsibilities

• Perform audit procedures for various clients across different industries
• Progress through the 3-year articles to meet all SAICA (South African Institute of Chartered Accountants) requirements for qualification
• Apply technical, digital, and professional capabilities to deliver quality work
• Develop and demonstrate leadership, business insight, and the ability to build valuable relationships as per the PwC Professional framework
• Operate effectively within multidisciplinary teams to help build trust and deliver sustained outcomes for clients

Qualifications

• Education:
• Grade 12 with matric exemption and university acceptance
• Must have taken Mathematics (not Maths Literacy) and English as subjects
• Must have an average of 60% for all university subjects
• Must be on the CA(SA) academic stream (completing Honours/CTA)
• Skills & Attributes:
• Proficiency in English and strong communication skills
